Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: TrioWFS Program - UnityPoint Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 2 years of current CRT/RRT experience. - Experience with all age groups.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - NICU experience highly preferred.

Special Requests: - Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call. - Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day.

Floating Requirements: - May be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Previous Employment Requirements: - Must not have been employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
