Responsibilities and Duties Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe changes needed to migrate to the "to be" capability. Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders using interviews, workshops, and surveys. Critically analyze and decompose complex business needs into functional and non‑functional requirements. Use data from a range of sources to analyze key themes and assess business impacts. Interpret business needs and recommend solutions to business problems at a business unit level. Elicit, document, and validate project/process requirements with stakeholders, eliminating confusion. Define testing scripts and verification criteria to ensure requirements are met. Maintain documentation and traceability throughout the project. Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications, including data models, process flows, system interfaces, and integration requirements. Create clear and concise documentation for development and testing teams. Explore and evaluate external developments or emerging issues and assess their potential impact on the organization. Conduct feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to develop and review business cases. Deliver small or medium‑scale projects within an established program management plan. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as business users, engineers, testers, and project managers. Support a culture of innovation by contributing solutions that boost creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Continuously develop own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching. Maintain understanding of relevant technology and industry best practices through ongoing education and specialist media. Required Skills Determine and analyze trends from data to assist in compiling decision‑making reports. Conduct gap analysis between current and future states to identify components of the change strategy. Understand business context, needs, rules, architecture, organization structure, culture, capabilities, and processes. Envision and document future state of processes and technology, including solution scope, value, and necessary changes. Lead facilitated sessions for requirement elicitation, focus groups, and user acceptance testing. Express user needs in business requirements, assess current capability, conduct build‑or‑buy analyses, and recommend preferred approaches. Create rules for requirement and design quality, perform verification activities, and maintain quality control. Utilize appropriate modeling tools to diagram requirements and use cases. Produce clear, comprehensive, user‑friendly guides, manuals, narratives, and reports. Identify, select, and manage oversight of business analysis work, including decision making, change control, prioritization, and approval processes. Identify potential stakeholders, analyze expectations, and develop stakeholder management strategies. Preferred Skills Interpret or lead business case creation, quantify costs, justify project investment, and identify ROI. Use database reporting tools and techniques. Plan, identify, monitor, analyze, and prioritize risks, threats, and opportunities to create response plans and manage risk. Sequence and allocate resources in project schedules for timely completion. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent level experience. Experience 3 to 6 years of practitioner experience able to handle the majority of situations. Basic managerial experience coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months).
