Ballyhoo Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Dishwasher to join our thirteenth restaurant and one of many in Glenview.

Job Summary:

The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning, transporting and storing all pots, pans, utensils and tableware used in the food and beverage operations in an efficient and proper manner

Essential Responsibilities:

• Clean, sanitize and store properly all china, glassware, silverware, flatware, pots and pans.
• Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchens and food preparation areas, including ovens, grills, stoves, hoods, fryers, preparation slicers, steam kettles, tables and floors.
• Maintain clean dish machines with appropriate chemicals.
• Maintain three compartment sinks with appropriate chemicals.
• Assist in delivery drops, stocking products, breaking down boxes and recycle them properly.
• Maintain swept and mopped areas that are high traffic including but not limited to walk- in coolers and hallways.
• Maintain clean and swept areas in the back of the restaurant including but not limited to
• near and around the trash/recycling receptacles, linen deposit bin, basement and back doors.
• Perfumes other duties as assigned.

Job Related Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to remain calm during high volume service or difficult situations.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Ability to stand and bend for a long period of time
