Description:
Looking for an additional CRNA to join the team.
Practice setting includes a hospital-based facility with 11 operating rooms.
Services encompass cardiovascular, vascular, neuro, general, ENT (limited pediatrics), urology, orthopedic, robotic, colo-rectal, podiatry, and plastic surgery.
Out-of-department services provided include non-invasive cardiology, obstetrics, endoscopy, and radiology (CT MRI).
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop care plans.
Administer general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care.
Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia complications.
Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
Maintain accurate documentation per hospital and regulatory standards.
Graduation from an accredited anesthesia school is required.
Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
Schedule includes 8 or 10-hour day shifts.
Documentation is currently paper-based, moving to an electronic system in 2026.
Supervision ratio is 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs.
Average surgical cases per day is approximately 35.
Pain management services are provided out-of-department.
Trauma level is categorized as Level 3.
Annual ER volume is around 80 cases.
Operating room staff includes RNs and scrub techs.
Number of operating rooms available is 11.
Board certification is required.
New graduates are accepted.
Patient demographic includes minimal pediatric cases; primarily adult and geriatric.
Required procedures include general surgical cases for adults, obstetrical cases, and neurosurgical cases.
Additional preferred procedures include arterial line insertion, IV insertions, and floor intubations.
Credentialing timeframe is estimated at 90-120 days.
Temporary privileges have been requested.
Background checks and application fees are not reimbursed.
