Substation Drafter

Job Title

Must Have Qualifications

3-6 years of drafting/design experience

Strong Autodesk Inventor experience

Proficient in AutoCAD

Experience creating and revising detailed engineering drawings

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

Substation design experience

Utility, power delivery, transmission & distribution, industrial power, or EPC project experience

Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology

Revit or MicroStation experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Develop and update detailed substation drawing packages

Coordinate with engineers on design changes

Ensure compliance with client CAD standards

Perform quality checks on completed drawings

Participate in project planning meetings

Support field verification and site visits when needed

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $65000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
