Job Title: Microelectronics Assembler

We are seeking a Microelectronics Assembler to support a leading technology company in Chelmsford, MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail and an interest in hands-on work with electronic and microelectronic assemblies.

In this role, you will play a key part in assembling and/or testing advanced electronic products and systems in a production environment.

What You'll Do

• Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, and finished products by following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings
• Use microscopes, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements
• Read and interpret assembly process documentation and work instructions
• Work with components ranging from microscopic to large, often requiring visual magnification
• Use a variety of hand tools (tweezers, rulers, cutters) and pneumatic tools (torque drivers, screwdrivers)
• Maintain accurate production data entry and documentation
• Collaborate with team members to improve throughput and continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Basic computer skills, including navigating digital systems for timekeeping, work instructions, and task confirmation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Willingness and ability to learn J-STD-001 and/or IPC-A-610 standards
• Experience with electrical and/or microelectronics assembly preferred
• Knowledge of ESD procedures and electronic test equipment
• Strong work ethic with a reputation for punctuality, reliability, and continuous learning
• High school diploma or GED required

Security Requirement

• Interim Secret Clearance required to start
• Supplier will initiate the interim clearance process at the offer stage

Shift Options

• 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday, 4:00 PM 2:30 AM
• Day Shift: Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM
