In this access control role, you will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service and communication, and help to deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.90 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM Sunday: 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies at the location. Monitor entry and exit points, review identification and visitor records, and help to deter unauthorized access to production, warehouse, and restricted areas. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including supporting emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, parking areas, loading zones, and other access‑sensitive locations. Document daily activity, access‑related events, and unusual conditions, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security‑related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
