Unit Highlights

• Unit/Cost Center: Medical/Renal 6th Floor
• Shift: 7A-7P or 7P-7A
• Skill Set Required: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Preferred Skills: One year of medical/surgical nursing experience, Experience with Meditech software
• Typical Procedures Performed: IV starts and therapy, Wound care, Patient assessment and implementation of interventions, Use of drainage devices, Central line management, Blood product administration
• Unit Guidelines/Policies: To be reviewed upon joining the unit. Familiarity with National Patient Safety Goals is essential.
• Dress Code: Scrub Color: Navy, Closed-toe shoes required, Tattoos must be appropriately covered
