Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and in-depth reviews of medical histories
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
• Work collaboratively with surgeons to formulate and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide key intraoperative support, including preparing operating rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgical practice is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• Certification in BLS and ACLS required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
