Field Service Technician (Project Management) Job Title: Field Service Technician Reports To: Technical Support Manager Position Overview Synchronize IT Solutions is seeking a dependable, client-focused Field Service Technician to provide dispatched onsite technical support for client hardware, infrastructure, and network environments. This role is ideal for a hands-on IT professional who thrives in face-to-face client environments and also contributes to a high-performing help desk team when in the office. The Field Service Technician serves as an extension of our clients internal teams delivering responsive, professional support while upholding Synchronize ITs standard of proactive, relationship-driven service. Key Responsibilities Onsite Client Support Provide dispatched onsite support for hardware, workstations, printers, servers, and network equipmentInstall, configure, and troubleshoot switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and structured cabling Perform workstation deployments, user onboarding setups, and hardware replacementsDiagnose and resolve connectivity issues (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)Assist with project rollouts including office moves, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvementsMaintain clear documentation of onsite work and client environments In-Office & Help Desk Support Close service tickets efficiently while maintaining high client satisfactionProvide remote troubleshooting for Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and line-of-business applicationsFollow up with clients regarding open projects, deliverables, and system improvementsCollaborate with engineering and security teams on escalationsEnsure accurate documentation within PSA and RMM platformsParticipate in internal process improvement and knowledge sharing Qualifications Hands-on IT support experience (MSP experience preferred) Strong understanding of: Windows 10/11 Microsoft 365 administration Active Directory / Entra ID TCP/IP networking fundamentals Firewalls, switches, and wireless networking Experience with ticketing systems and documentation standards Ability to work independently onsite while representing the company professionally Strong communication and customer service skills Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Preferred Certifications CompTIA A+Network+Microsoft Certifications Cisco/ Meraki / Ubiquiti experience a plus What Success Looks Like Clients feel supported, understood, and confident after every visit Tickets are resolved promptly and documented thoroughly Projects move forward smoothly with proactive follow-up The internal team experiences support, collaboration, and accountability Why Synchronize IT Solutions?
