We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to process weekly payroll for both union and non-union employees at our corporate headquarters. This role requires a keen eye for accuracy and compliance, ensuring all payroll activities align with company and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for union and non-union employees.
• Review timesheets for accuracy, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Address payroll discrepancies, adjustments, and employee inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
• Coordinate with HR, project managers, and field teams for seamless payroll execution.
• Support audits and reporting related to payroll activity.

• Proficiency in payroll processing.
• Experience with payroll tax and payroll accounting.
• Familiarity with union and non-union payroll processing.
• Experience with Kronos and reconciliation.
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience, ideally in construction, engineering, or project-based environments.

• Experience handling high-volume, multi-state payroll with union exposure.
• Familiarity with timekeeping systems and payroll software such as ADP, UKG, or similar.

This is a fully onsite position located at the corporate headquarters. The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM. The position is a one-month assignment to cover for an employee on leave.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Nanuet, NY.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr.
