Desktop Support TechnicianLocation: Onsite - Austin, Texas or surrounding area within a 50-mile radiusOur client has issued a request for a Desktop Support Technician with experience supporting video tele-conferencing solutions (Cisco Webex) and an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software).Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:Experience with a Texas State Agency or Texas City/County governmentExperience utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment - preferredProvide 3 business references, which must include their company name and phone number.Responsibilities: The worker will have an excellent understanding of computers (both hardware and software) and a demonstrated willingness to learn and apply new technology. Performs installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of personal computers (PC) and related systems. Troubleshoots and resolves software and hardware failures. Identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers. Provides technical support, training, process creation, and leading various project efforts, and is an exceptional local leader and mentor to junior TechniciansQualifications: Minimum (Required)5 - Experience providing end-user support5 - Experience in supporting personal computer hardware and routine software installation5 - Experience troubleshooting IT hardware and peripherals in a enterprise environment5 - Experience supporting Microsoft Productivity tools such as Office 365 and MS Teams4 - Experience providing "white-glove" executive level support4 - Experience supporting video tele-conferencing solutions such as Cisco WebexPreferred (Optional)5 - Experience creating technical knowledge articles5 - Working in a multi-vendor environment for support environment4 - Experience utilizing ServiceNow in a support environment
