As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a housing shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential shelter location.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior common areas, entrances, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain awareness of resident, visitor, and staff activity.
• Document incidents, patrols, and unusual occurrences accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
