They smile, greet and thank customers, ring up items, process payments, and keep a positive attitude. This role often requires standing for long periods of time and assisting customers with various needs. What you’ll do You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You may be the first, last, or only associate a customer interacts with, so it's important to smile, greet, and thank every customer. You are an ambassador of Walmart. The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons. You will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers: scanning items, explaining prices, bagging items properly, counting cash back, and keeping your area clean. You should be able to multi‑task, maintain a positive attitude, and have a passion for customer service and helping others.
