Job Opportunity – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab RN – Georgia

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Macon, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Self-scheduling with call requirements including 1 weekend per month and 1-2 weekdays per week. Weekend coverage is included in call requirements. Daily census ranges from 15-25 patients.

• Diverse case mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, EP procedures, and advanced interventions
• Epic electronic medical records system
• Float within facility and scope of practice to affiliated location as needed
• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Active Georgia or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required – first-time travelers cannot be considered
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Community hospital and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Clinical competencies must include: diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, EP lab procedures, circulating and scrubbing procedures, IABP placement/removal, Impella insertion, procedural sedation monitoring, radiation and laser safety, central line management, dysrhythmia interpretation, and advanced cardiac interventions including FFR and Angiojet
• Full compliance documentation required prior to start date; non-compliance will result in a 2-week delay due to bi-weekly orientation schedule

Holiday Expectations:

If one or two major holidays fall within your assignment period, you are expected to work them. If three major holidays fall within your assignment, you are expected to work two. Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day.
