Operator 2The Operator 2 is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing material and products according to customer guidelines and ISO 9001 where applicable.Job DutiesPrimary DutiesReads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributedSorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product codeAssembles customer orders from stock, stage orders and/or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department according to OH or customer pick sheetLoads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials using a fork lift, clamp truck or other power equipmentMaintains the clean and safe equipment, reporting service requests as neededAssists in maintaining the security of the warehouse by conducting operations in a manner which promotes safetyAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping departmentChecks orders for exactness and neatness according to ISO 9001 proceduresMarks materials with identifying informationOpens bales, crates, and other containersRecords amounts of materials or items received or distributedWeighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standardsParticipates in customer rework projects as neededCompiles worksheets or tickets from customer specificationsEfficiently moves and loads product from staging and/or storage areas into trailersUnloads inbound freight safely and moves products to storage locations
