Front Desk Receptionist - Short-term

Job Description

We are seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to welcome and graciously greet and direct all stakeholders, notify appropriate staff members of arrivals, and provide program information to prospective tutors and students. This position is covering for medical leave, and work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Job Duties:

• Provide technical support and guidance for Zoom process and troubleshooting
• Conduct timely and accurate data entry into various databases (LACES, Excel, Google Sheets)
• Maintain inventory of office and program supplies
• Assist with directing on-site volunteers and special events, department-specific projects, and seasonal program changes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Job Qualifications:

• Must have High school Diploma or GED; Associates Degree is preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Suite, and Zoom
• Spanish language knowledge is a huge plus
• Must have the ability to pay extreme attention to detail
• Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to calm anxious callers by instilling confidence
• Must be able to manage time and multi-task effectively
• Must have the ability to maintain confidential of sensitive information
