Dietary Aide

Dietary Aide Position Summary The Dietary Aide prepares and serves nutritious, therapeutically appropriate meals and snacks in a safe, sanitary, and efficient manner. This position plays an important role in supporting resident satisfaction and quality care by providing excellent dining service and maintaining a clean food service environment. Reporting Relationship Reports to: Dietary Manager Morning Cook Late Cook Essential Job Responsibilities Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages according to resident diet orders and food safety standards. Take resident meal orders and provide friendly, respectful dining service. Ensure meals are accurate, appropriately portioned, and served at the proper temperature. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, dining area, and work environment. Operate dishwashing equipment safely and wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Record required food and equipment temperatures. Receive, stock, and store food and supplies. Assist with special events, cleaning projects, and other department duties as assigned. Attend required training and work collaboratively with the dietary team. Qualifications Previous food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry food, supplies, and equipment throughout the shift. Why Join Our Team?
