About the Role:

Director of Nursing at Serenity Estates of Freeport is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department. You will be responsible for:

• Leadership: Providing strategic direction and guidance to our nursing staff to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.

• Operations: Managing the allocation of resources, scheduling, and workflow to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Quality Improvement: Identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Collaboration: Working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless resident experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the nursing department, including staff development and training.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including surveys, inspections, and accreditation.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care and staff operations.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement programs that enhance the resident experience.
• Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in nursing leadership or management.

• Certifications: Current RN license and certifications in relevant areas (e.g., CNA, CNM).

What We Offer:

• Competitive Salary: $100,000 - $115,000 annually.
