Position responsibilities: 24 hour responsibility/accountability for operation of unit(s). In collaboration with the CNO, monitors and reports trends in patient population/acuity and manages human resources accordingly. Rounds on assigned areas to assess for adherence to standards of care & practice, e.g., individualized care plans and adherence to Standards of Care. Required Knowledge/ Education & Skills: Fiscal Responsibility Strong Leadership Skills Decision Making/Critical Thinking Delegation skills Commitment to Customer Satisfaction and Service Excellence Bachelor’s degree in nursing required Clinical competence with a minimum of three years’ experience in nursing.
