About This Role The RN in the Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Mentor Hospital provides 24/7 emergency care to diverse patient populations. Highlights Pay: $35.50 - $55.60/hour Location: Mentor, OH Facility: Mentor Hospital Department/Unit: Emergency Department Schedule: Full-time, Variable shifts What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care. Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patients' conditions. Evaluate, update, and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned outcomes. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs. Educate patients and families with educational materials considering cultural issues. Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol. Requirements Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN program) required. Experience 1+ year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required; military RN experience considered. Licenses & Certifications Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire.
