Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
Pay: Up to $65,000 annually (depending on experience; expected to start near the top of this range for qualified candidates)

About the Role
Hauck Enterprises is a company with more than 25 years of experience providing professional cemetery maintenance services across the region. In this hands-on leadership role based in Tuscaloosa, you will oversee lawn care, burial services, and marker/memorial installations at multiple locations. You’ll help create peaceful, well-maintained environments that families can visit while reflecting on their loved ones—work that carries real honor and pride.

This is a working manager position. You will lead teams while staying involved in daily operations, resource management, and customer coordination. Success comes from effectively managing people, equipment, and schedules in a safe, supportive environment. The schedule is flexible and includes extended hours and weekends as needed.

What You Will Do

• Lead and manage all site personnel involved in cemetery operations
• Direct in-house and contracted lawn and maintenance crews
• Oversee equipment safety, preventative maintenance, and proper use
• Recruit, train, schedule, and retain team members while ensuring policy and safety compliance
• Submit required reports, distribute company documents, and maintain operational standards
• Communicate and collaborate with customer representatives to deliver consistent, respectful service
• Perform hands-on work and step in to complete any job function as needed

Requirements

• Experience supervising and leading work crews
• Experience operating a backhoe
• Experience operating a tractor
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experience with landscape maintenance
• Ability to perform all job functions of subordinate employees
• Ability to lift up to or over 75 pounds
• Strong communication skills
• Good driving record
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
