Radiology - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30), 40 hours a week. Call once a week on every 4th Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in a Level II Cath Lab focused on interventional cardiology and radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing angiograms and stent placements while providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform imaging procedures for interventional radiology and cardiology.
• Assist in patient management, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Utilize appropriate imaging techniques and maintain equipment functionality.
• Respond to STEMI calls as required and assist in emergency cases.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of cardiac experience required.
• ACLS and ARRT certifications are mandatory.
• Competency in IABP and Impella procedures is necessary.
• Valid state license required at the time of submission.
• Candidates must be able to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals as needed.
