Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, issuing diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health issues, working collaboratively with physicians or independently based on your credentials
• Providing education on disease prevention, wellness strategies, and comprehensive management to patients and their families
• Prescribing therapies and medications in accordance with your practice scope
• Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic illness management

Needed Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Indiana
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to achieve within 90 days)
