Where you'll be working:
Location(s): Jacksonville, FL (Duval County Public Schools)
Setting: School-Based
Population Served: Students with autism spectrum disorders and emotional/behavioral disabilities in Duval County public school settings
Years in Operation: Founded in 2012
What You'll Actually Be Doing (aka no surprises later):
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop measurable behavioral goals and objectives
- Supervise RBTs delivering in-school support services and evaluate treatment integrity across educational environments
- Provide professional development and hands-on training to teachers and paraprofessionals on ABA techniques and de-escalation strategies
- Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust strategies in real time
- Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary providers to support students' academic and social success
Caseload & Support Transparency (because details matter):
Caseload size: 8-11
Billable hour expectations: 20-25
Support Structure:
- Supervision and consultation from a clinician-led, multidisciplinary team
- Collaborative BCBA meetings for mentorship and case consultation
- Administrative support to manage documentation burdens
- Quarterly learning summits and clinical training events
Compensation & Perks (real ones):
Base salary: $60-90K
Bonus structure:
- Sign-on and retention bonus opportunities

PTO: 2 weeks
