Senior Accountant

Most senior accounting seats hand you a close checklist and a chair. This one puts you inside a contract manufacturer where inventory, cost, and margin are the business. Established manufacturer in health & beauty and household products — three decades in, engineers and chemists under the same roof as accounting. You'll own the close, but you'll also connect cost data to what's actually happening on the floor. Right seat for someone with five-plus years who wants scope and a hand in what gets automated next. What you'll own Journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation Monthly, quarterly, and annual close — accruals, prepaids, general ledger integrity Inventory accounting, cost analysis, and variance tracking in a manufacturing environment Balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reporting Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Fixed asset schedules and depreciation Partnership with AP, AR, and Payroll staff What you bring Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing or distribution accounting Advanced Excel experience Why this one is worth a look Real cost accounting exposure.
