Allegiance Group is partnering with a construction company in Nashville, TN, to find an experienced Concrete Estimator with a background in commercial projects.

In this role, you’ll prepare accurate, competitive estimates for commercial concrete work, reviewing project documents, completing takeoffs, and coordinating with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams. Once settled into the role, you’ll work in the office one day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents for commercial concrete projects.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and related work.
• Solicit and review pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Identify scope gaps, project risks, and cost considerations during the estimating process.
• Support bid preparation, proposals, and estimating handoffs to project teams.
• Maintain accurate records of takeoffs, quotes, and bid documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to clarify scope and pricing.
• Assist with pricing updates and project-specific cost information as required.

Requirements:

• Experience estimating concrete work on commercial construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Knowledge of concrete construction methods, materials, labor, and equipment costs.
• Experience preparing quantity takeoffs and coordinating supplier or subcontractor pricing.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage bid deadlines.
