LPN or RN Part Time Med/Surg

Job Overview The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, individualized, goal‑directed patient care under RN supervision. The LPN administers medications, reports patient conditions, and may handle new hire and annual health screenings for Employee Health. Responsibilities Administer medications and document patient care according to the Nursing Care Plan. Monitor patients and report symptoms or changes to the supervising RN. Contribute to a cooperative work environment and resolve patient or customer concerns. Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining clear written and oral communication. Support new hire and annual health screenings under RN supervision. Maintain strict deadlines, complete multiple tasks simultaneously, and assist in supervising and training staff when required. Observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an LPN program required. Excellent knowledge of MS Office and relevant computer software. Strong team leadership, organizational, interpersonal, and customer‑relations skills. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and time‑management abilities. Proficient written and oral communication skills. Licensing & Certification Active LPN license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) may be required based on department assignment.
