The compensation for this role will be competitive and is aligned with industry standards, taking into consideration factors such as experience, education, and geographic location. The base salary range for this position is $132,500 to $166,500 (USD), exclusive of any discretionary bonuses and benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION MissionEdge Technologies is seeking a Linux-based System Administratorresponsible for managing, maintaining, and securing enterprise IT infrastructure across servers, networks, and cloud environments. The role focuses heavily onLinux administration, DevOps, automation, system troubleshooting, and CI/CD operations. Essential Job Functions: Manage and monitor IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure high availability and performance. Collaborate with development teams to optimize deployment strategies and resolve environment-related issues. Automate routine tasks using scripting and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform). Ensure system security through firewalls, antivirus tools, and access controls. Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures. Stay current with DevOps trends. Minimum Required Qualifications: Due to the nature of this position and the information that employees willbe requiredtoaccess;U.S. Citizenship isrequired. Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph. Ten (10) years’experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Working Conditions: Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager. Employees are required to notify management in advance of any plans to relocate out of state to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Physical Requirements: May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday. Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
