Part Time Floating Maintenance Technician, Property Management
American Classic Storage is currently seeking a Part-Time Floating Maintenance Technician for our storage properties. We own and operate 12 properties in Hampton Roads. We have an immediate need in the Williamsburg area. This position will initially focus on the two Williamsburg properties and includes job training/tools. As the technician, you will support multiple properties by traveling to various facility locations in Williamsburg, with a monthly opportunity in Hampton/Newport News. This position involves assisting full-time property managers with indoor and outdoor maintenance and cleaning tasks.
Part-time Floating Maintenance Technician responsibilities include:
- Reliable transportation. Driver’s License. Dependability.
- Maintaining a professional appearance, demeanor, and conduct
- Being able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Being punctual and working from a to-do list
-Comfortable emailing, texting, and attaching pictures to work messages
- Spending most of your shift outside cleaning units and property
-Preparing and cleaning empty storage units using our Move Out Check List
-Identifying weather seals, hasps, and springs that need attention/replaced
- Roll Up Door maintenance
- Performing janitorial and custodial duties when assigned
- Identifying, reporting plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues
-Painting, cleaning gutters, assisting with pest management as directed
-Occasionally meeting vendors or contractors
- Tools & Training provided
