Registered Nurse - Respiratory

Job Summary:

Responsible for conducting pulmonary function tests and respiratory assessments within a busy clinical setting. Collaborates with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostics and ensure optimal respiratory patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform pulmonary function tests and exercise testing with precision and adherence to protocols.
  
  
• 
  Administer specialized procedures such as methacholine challenge tests.
  
  
• 
  Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
  
  
• 
  Document test results and communicate findings to healthcare providers promptly.
  
  
• 
  Assist in patient education regarding respiratory health and testing processes.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Respiratory Therapist license or registration.
  
  
• 
  Prior experience in exercise testing and pulmonary diagnostics preferred.
  
  
• 
  Strong knowledge of respiratory assessment techniques and procedures.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work flexible hours, including both 7a-4p and 7a-5:30p shifts.
  
  
• 
  Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
