Digital Navigator

Department Description The Digital Navigator provides patient navigation, health system education, and digital technology support to patients, parents (guardians), and families participating in an NIH-funded pediatric clinical research study evaluating telehealth-enabled Family-Centered Rounds (FCR) in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). The Digital Navigator facilitates virtual FCR workflows for families in the clinical trial, which includes attending virtual FCR encounters to support families, troubleshooting issues in real-time, and advocating for FCR best practices. Using a patient- and family-centered approach, the Digital Navigator assists families in overcoming barriers to participation by assessing technology needs, providing digital literacy and equipment support, facilitating access to resources, coordinating intervention activities, identifying and addressing other needs to optimally engage in FCR, and support equitable participation in the study. #J-18808-Ljbffr
