Location: Athens, TX
Schedule: 20–25 hours per week
Hours : 9:00am-2:30 pm or 10:00am-3:30pm M-F
Pay: $16/hr.
Employment Type: Temporary (through staffing agency)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and people-focused HR Administrative Assistant to support our Human Resources team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This temporary, part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, takes initiative, and thrives when balancing multiple priorities.

The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for many employees and applicants, making professionalism, warmth, and strong customer service skills essential. This position provides administrative support across a variety of HR functions and requires a high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
• Assist employees and applicants with questions and direct them to appropriate resources.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and other HR-related activities.
• Enter, update, and audit data in HR systems and spreadsheets.
• Assist with scheduling interviews, meetings, training sessions, and employee events.
• Prepare HR forms, reports, and correspondence.
• Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous administrative or office support experience required.
• Human Resources experience is a plus, but not required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
