Position: Nurse Practitioner – Emergency Medicine 
\n Work Type: PRN / Per Diem 
\n Location: Alamogordo, NM Schedule:

Schedule: 

\n

\n
• \n

  Per diem, as needed 

\n
• \n

  Shifts scheduled 2+ months in advance 

\n

\n \n

\n

Facility Overview: 

\n

\n
• \n

  20 ED beds 

\n
• \n

  10–12 recliners for fast-track and vertical patients 

\n

\n \n

\n

Patient Population: 

\n

\n
• \n

  Full age spectrum 

\n
• \n

  Acuity typical of a community emergency department 

\n

\n \n

\n

Responsibilities 

\n

\n
• \n

  Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting to the Emergency Department 

\n
• \n

  Provide high-quality, efficient care across varying acuity levels 

\n
• \n

  Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams 

\n
• \n

  Support CHRISTUS Health’s mission of compassionate, patient-centered care

Experience & Preferred Background 

\n

\n
• \n

  Emergency Medicine experience preferred 

\n
• \n

  Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently 

\n
• \n

  Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment 

\n

\n \n

\n

Requirements 

\n

\n
• \n

  Eligible for or currently licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in the State of New Mexico

\n \n

\n
