Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-call required (up to 4 weeknight call shifts per 4-week schedule) | Up to one working weekend shift every 4 weeks | Holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scrub and circulating roles across a broad range of surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
• Provide direct patient care within a high-volume, Level I Trauma Center operating room environment
• Collaborate within a nurse-driven surgical team comprised of Registered Nurses and Certified Surgical Technologists
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for clinical documentation
• Participate in on-call shifts and respond to emergent surgical needs as required by unit scheduling
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across like units as required

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license (SC license must be active prior to start)
• Current BLS certification
• Radiation badge required (provided by agency)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience strongly preferred; first-time travelers considered
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in a surgical setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Experience working in a Magnet-designated or academic teaching facility
