Registered Nurse (RN) - Advanced Care Unit Job Type: Full Time | Nights Schedule: 3x12 (7p-7a) Rotating Weekends Sign On Bonus: $10,000 About Our Facility Centerpoint - Winchester (formerly Clark Regional Medical Center) is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network. We recently expanded our intensive care unit by 75% and added six new beds, as well as an expanded Advanced Care Unit (ACU) and space for a new surgical suite. Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document all patient care delivered. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family. Assist patients with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support. Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of the patient. Qualifications Current state RN license and a bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required). KY RN state licensure or compact licensure (required). Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 10 days of hire. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 30 days of hire. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 45 days of hire. Handle With Care within 30 days of hire.
