We are seeking an experienced and professional Office Manager to oversee the front desk and office operations for a beachfront resort condominium property. This position is responsible for managing the front desk team, supporting guest and owner services, enforcing property policies, and ensuring the office operates efficiently, professionally, and consistently.
The Office Manager serves as the department manager for the front desk and administrative office staff. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a fast-paced hospitality-style environment while balancing the needs of guests, condominium owners, staff, vendors, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all front desk and office functions for the resort condominium.
- Supervise, schedule, train, and support front desk and office staff.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance management of office personnel.
- Ensure staff follow established property policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Manage daily guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations support, and front desk activity.
- Respond professionally to guest and condominium owner questions, concerns, and service requests.
- Coordinate with maintenance, housekeeping, management, security, and other departments to address guest and owner needs.
- Dispatch appropriate departments for maintenance issues, housekeeping concerns, access issues, guest requests, and other property-related matters.
- Maintain a high standard of guest service and professionalism throughout the office and front desk operations.
- Handle escalated guest or owner concerns and work toward timely, appropriate resolution.
- Ensure accurate communication between departments and proper documentation of issues, requests, incidents, and follow-up items.
- Assist with enforcement of property rules, rental policies, owner policies, and operational procedures.
- Maintain organized office systems, records, reports, and administrative processes.
- Support management with operational reporting, staff accountability, and day-to-day property communication.
- Monitor office workflow and make recommendations to improve efficiency, service, and consistency.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospitality, resort operations, condominium management, property management, or office management preferred.
- Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and hold staff accountable in a professional manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle guest and owner concerns calmly, professionally, and effectively.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management, reservation, communication, and reporting systems.
- Dependable, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality when handling owner, guest, staff, and property information.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on manager who understands hospitality-style service, enjoys leading a team, and can help create a professional, organized, and service-focused front desk environment. This person should be comfortable interacting with guests, condominium owners, vendors, and staff while ensuring that office operations are handled consistently and efficiently.
Work Environment
This position is based at a beachfront resort condominium property and requires regular interaction with guests, owners, staff, vendors, and management. The role may involve busy check-in/check-out periods, guest service demands, and coordination with multiple departments throughout the property.
Compensation
- Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications Rate between $19-23 / hr
