Housekeeping Aide Position Summary

To maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and associates. This is accomplished by completing the daily schedule and following established departmental policies and procedures.

Works under the direction of a supervisor; being highly trained and skilled with all aspects of the Environmental Services Cleaning Procedures in Manual, Infectious Control Policies, JCAHO Standards Policies, Hazardous materials, and Institutional Waste. Educate and train Others. Performance will adhere to training, and Environmental Aide tasks.

Housekeeping Aide Position Requirements

Education

• 10th grade or equivalent preferred

Experience:

• One year of experience preferred
• No previous experience required

Housekeeping Aide Schedule

• Days, Evenings, or Nights Shifts. Will require working during the weekends and holidays.
• Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.
• Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.

Housekeeping Aide Benefits

• At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non-12-hour shift schedules, and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
