MRI Technologist (PRN)

This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in MRI, with potential responsibilities in other advanced modalities such as CT, Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, or Cardiac Catheterization. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, conducts studies independently or in on‑call situations, and ensures quality control and safety protocols are followed. The role requires assisting with workflow and patient care during exams. Qualifications & Skills Associate degree or higher in a related field Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography and/or MRI (ARRT or equivalent) Preferred: 2+ years of experience and additional certifications such as CPR, Intravenous Therapy, or specialty licenses Ability to perform procedures independently and manage multiple tasks in various settings Key Duties Prepare patients and operate imaging equipment Perform diagnostic exams accurately and efficiently Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained Assist with workflow and patient care in a fast‑paced environment Additional requirements include compliance with licensing and certification standards, and the ability to work in different imaging modalities.
