About the Role As a Patient Access Representative at Quincy Medical Group, you will help create a positive first impression for our patients while ensuring they have a smooth experience accessing care. Whether assisting patients at check-in, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, or answering questions, you will play an important role in supporting both patients and care teams. Schedule- Full-time position based at one of Quincy Medical Group's Quincy, Illinois locations.
- Schedules vary by department and may include different start and end times. Specific schedules and department placement will be discussed during the interview process to help determine the best fit.

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, welcoming, and compassionate manner.
- Register patients and accurately collect demographic, insurance, and financial information.
- Schedule appointments and assist patients with appointment changes and follow-up visits.
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain required authorizations as appropriate.
- Collect co-payments and process patient payments according to organizational policies.
- Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, registration, and general inquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records within the electronic medical record system.
- Coordinate communication between patients, providers, and care teams to support efficient clinic operations.
- Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous customer service, administrative, retail, hospitality, banking, healthcare, or office experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer and data entry skills required.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling patient information.
- Experience with healthcare registration, scheduling, or electronic medical records is helpful but not required.
