Senior IT Project Manager

Job Summary:

The IT Senior Project Manager will lead and manage multiple IT projects, including the implementation of a CAD RMS software system and a vanpool software feasibility study and implementation. This role involves detailed project planning, monitoring, controlling, change management, and stakeholder communication to ensure successful project delivery. The position requires collaboration with the Enterprise Program Office and adherence to a hybrid work schedule. Responsibilities:

• Manage the implementation of CAD RMS software and vanpool software projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and oversee software implementation processes.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including RAID logs and status reports.
• Monitor and control project progress, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
• Plan and facilitate meetings, communications, and stakeholder engagement.
• Perform change management activities to support project transitions.
• Collaborate closely with Enterprise Program Office staff and other stakeholders.
• Support additional projects as assigned within the Enterprise Program Office.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Proven experience in project management, particularly with SaaS software implementations.
• Strong skills in project planning, monitoring, and controlling using project management tools.
• Experience managing RAID logs, status reporting, and facilitating project communications.
• Competence in change management and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week with a hybrid onsite and remote schedule.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
• Experience working within public transit or government agency environments.
• Familiarity with CAD RMS systems and vanpool software applications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Special Considerations:

• Work onsite at Community Transit facilities in Everett, WA, primarily Tuesday and Wednesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
• Remote work on Monday, Thursday, and Friday with possible onsite schedule adjustments based on project needs.
• Availability to begin work promptly and maintain consistent availability throughout project duration.
• Participation in interviews as part of the evaluation process.

Scheduling:

• Approximately 40 hours per week.
• Hybrid schedule: onsite Tuesday and Wednesday, remote Monday, Thursday, and Friday.
• Onsite location: 2312 W. Casino Road, Everett, WA 98204.
• Schedule may be adjusted based on project requirements and meetings.
