Responsibilities
- Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images of the body.
- Explain the procedure to the patient, position and immobilize the patient on the exam table, and observe during the scan under direction of a physician.
- Review and evaluate computer-generated information to determine if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
- Use safety measures and protection devices to ensure the safety of patients and staff within the MRI environment.
- Document patient information, imaging results, and equipment usage according to department protocol.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging.

Requirements
- Ability to travel for a 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
- Availability to work a rotating shift.
- Ability to perform MRI imaging procedures, including patient positioning and immobilization.
- Commitment to MRI safety protocols for patients and staff.
- Strong communication skills to explain procedures and coordinate with the patient and physician team.
- Ability to complete credentialing and comply with hospital policies as required.
