Psychiatric Registered Nurse

The position requires a Psychiatric Registered Nurse who will be involved in providing care to adult and geriatric patients. The role includes acute inpatient psychiatric treatment and care within a safe and secure environment. Daily patient evaluations will be conducted collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. There is a strong focus on patient-centered care, aiming for optimal patient outcomes. Utilization of sensory reduction tools is integral for facilitating anger management, coping skills, and de-escalation techniques. Improving both physical and emotional health is a priority. The dedicated team works to ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for all patients. Holidays will be required, along with every other weekend commitment.
