Job Description:

• Identify, collect, and curate AI initiatives, pilots, tools, and wins happening across different teams/functions within the organization.
• Partner with AI/data science/engineering teams to translate technical work into clear, non-technical narratives for a broad internal audience.
• Produce regular internal communications (newsletters, intranet posts, town halls, Slack/Teams updates, videos) spotlighting internal AI progress.
• Build and maintain a central "AI showcase" (internal hub, wiki, or dashboard) cataloguing ongoing AI projects and their business impact.

2. External AI Market Intelligence

• Continuously track external AI developments - new models, tools, platforms, regulations, competitor moves, and industry trends.
• Curate and simplify external AI news into digestible formats (e.g., "AI in 5 minutes" digests, weekly roundups) relevant to the organization's context.
• Highlight external tools, use cases, or approaches that could realistically be piloted or adopted internally, flagging them to relevant stakeholders.

3. Awareness & Culture Building

• Design and run an ongoing internal AI awareness program (e.g., "AI Spotlight," "AI Friday," lunch-and-learns, internal newsletters).
• Organize AI-focused events, webinars, or speaker sessions (internal or with external experts) to build organization-wide AI fluency.
• Partner with L&D/HR to embed AI awareness content into onboarding and learning journeys.
• Track engagement and sentiment to continuously improve the reach and relevance of AI communications.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as a liaison between AI/technical teams and the rest of the organization, ensuring consistent, accurate, and jargon-free messaging.
• Work closely with Corporate Communications, HR, Marketing, and Leadership to align messaging on AI strategy, governance, and responsible use.
• Gather feedback from employees on AI-related questions, concerns, or ideas and channel them back to relevant teams/leadership.

5. Content & Channel Management

• Own the content calendar, channels, and formats used for AI communication (newsletter, intranet, Slack/Teams channel, town halls, video).
• Ensure messaging is consistent with organizational tone, brand, and any AI governance/responsible-use guidelines.
• Measure and report on reach, engagement, and impact of AI communications (open rates, attendance, feedback, adoption signals).

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 4 8 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, content strategy, or a similar storytelling/awareness-building role.
• Demonstrated interest in or working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, tools, and market trends (does not need to be a technical practitioner, but must be conversant).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex/technical topics for a general audience.
• Experience building newsletters, intranet content, presentations, or internal campaigns.
• Strong stakeholder management skills - comfortable working with technical teams, leadership, and general staff alike.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working adjacent to a data science, AI, digital transformation, or innovation team.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) and general AI market landscape (major AI labs, product launches, trends).
• Experience with content/collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, Slack, Teams, Canva, video editing tools).
• Experience designing internal learning or awareness campaigns (change management background is a plus).
• Prior event/webinar organizing experience.
