Clinical Microbiologist Research & Teaching

Clinical Microbiologist Location: Morgantown, WV. Faculty rank: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor. Duties: The successful candidate will practice predominantly in the areas of Medical Microbiology. Additional fellowship training or experience/ ability and interest to cross‑cover other areas of clinical pathology such as transfusion medicine, molecular diagnostics and/ or informatics will be given preference. The candidate may collaborate on research and scholarly activities with faculty across WVU departments. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will also be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows. Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent, or a MD/PhD, and be board certified or board eligible in Medical Microbiology by either the American Board of Pathology or the American Board of Medical Microbiology, as well as be eligible for a state medical license. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment. Schedule: Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Shift: Exempt/Non‑Exempt – United States of America (Exempt).
