Additional Job Description WVUHS Medical Group seeks a Trauma Surgeon. The successful candidate will practice primarily at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, WV. Duties The successful candidate will practice in the area of trauma surgery and +1 will be Critical Care. This role is shift-based with a required 18 shifts per month. This role is part of a Surgery team and, although primarily at one location, acts as a unit to support the Northern Region if needed. Qualifications Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidate must have completed general surgery residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified/eligible in general surgery. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
