About the Role:

Lakeside Electrical & Construction Co. Inc. is looking for a motivated and hardworking Helper to join our team in Louisa, VA! This is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn the trade, and grow alongside an experienced crew in both electrical and general construction work.

Responsibilities:

Assist skilled tradespeople with electrical, septic, and general handyman tasks

Prepare and clean job sites before, during, and after project completion

Transport, load, and unload tools, materials, and equipment as needed

Support installation, repair, and maintenance tasks across residential and commercial projects

Follow all safety protocols and procedures on every job site

Communicate effectively with team leads and crew members to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements:

Prior experience in construction, electrical, or general handyman work is a plus but not required

Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced tradespeople

Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, standing, and working outdoors

Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools is preferred

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation a must

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
