Restaurant Manager (ServSafe Certified)

bb.q Chicken Huntsville is looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who is passionate about exceptional customer service, food quality, and building a strong team. This position manages both Front of House and Back of House operations while ensuring compliance with food safety and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including Front of House and Back of House.
• Lead, coach, and motivate team members to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ensure food is prepared and served according to company recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with all health department regulations and ServSafe food safety standards.
• Supervise food preparation, cooking, and service during peak business hours.
• Monitor inventory, place orders, and control food and labor costs.
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and ensure a positive dining experience.
• Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the restaurant.
• Work alongside the team in both customer service and kitchen operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification (required).
• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operations.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
