Industrial Maintenance Technician


We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Mobile, AL . This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable troubleshooting equipment, facility systems, and managing day-to-day maintenance needs. The right candidate will be dependable, proactive, and able to prioritize repairs that keep operations running smoothly.



Job Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, facilities, systems, and grounds.
• Respond to work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner, prioritizing critical repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire safety, and general facility systems.
• Work closely with maintenance, management, and other departments to support production and facility needs.
• Coordinate with internal team members and outside specialists when more complex repairs are required.
• Schedule repairs, maintenance, and installations to minimize operational disruption when possible.
• Provide updates on project status, schedules, completed work, and any changes impacting maintenance timelines.
• Follow safety procedures and complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in machinery, equipment, and/or facility maintenance required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a busy environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with team members, leadership, and outside vendors.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email/calendar tools.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining a safe, productive work environment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Pay rate : $25-$32/hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: Rotating shifts
