Job Opportunity – Physician Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery – Virginia
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Two-week on/off rotation; 75% inpatient, 25% outpatient; includes weekend rounds and night/weekend call
Highlights:
- Locum-to-permanent opportunity with conversion potential
- 100% adult patient population in cardiothoracic surgery specialty
- Weekend rounding with approximately 5–10 patients
- EPIC EMR system with training provided
- Credentialing timeline estimated at 90–120 days
- Initial coverage dates available in late August, September, and November
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active Virginia state license
- Active DEA certification
- Cardiothoracic surgery training or relevant experience
- Ability to obtain hospital privileges
